The hiking area Alpbachtal is situated at the heart of the Kitzbühel Alps, the Rofan mountain range, and the Brandenberger Alpen. There are trails suited for gentle family hikes, as well as challenging summit tours for experienced mountaineers available here.
Children are valued guests here in our holiday region and are offered many exciting experiences. From Reith im Alpbachtal the 8-person mountain lift up to the Reither Kogel takes families directly to the 2.5km-long adventure trail "Juppi's Enchanted Forest". The path is suitable for prams and includes many fun play-areas for children to enjoy.
The Tyrolean Alpbachtal and the neighbouring Seenland region is the ultimate open-air playground for mountain bikers! Here in the Alpbachtal bikers can ride from one alpine pasture to the next, while leisurely bikers and e-bikers can take full advantage of the rolling grass hills of the Kitzbühel Alps.
For all those hot summer days, there are fantastic places for you to relax, cool-down, and unwind in a beautiful natural setting in the Alpbachtal Seenland region. The Reitherer lake is only about a 5-minute walk from our accommodation Apartments Sonnwend. But there are so many more options available to you! Kramsach offers swimming pleasure at the Reinthaler lake and at the Krummsee lake, and there are various swimming pools in our region to visit.
A very special highlight for all our guests to our holiday region is the "Alpbachtal Card". Upon arrival, our guests receive this card free of charge. It includes many fantastic free activities and extras, such as free use of the mountain lifts in our region and free entrance to the swimming lakes during summer, and guided snow-shoe hikes, ice skating, and free entrance to the swimming pool in Wörgl during winter.
